Amanda Leesburg

President

Amanda Leesburg has spent her public relations career working directly with the media, representing clients in the entertainment, environmental, corporate and consumer industries. Through this experience she has become a local, regional and national media relations and branding specialist.

Amanda has worked with brands such as Delta Air Lines, Delta Air Lines Pilots Association, Lanier Worldwide, Visa, Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Tenet Healthcare, Microsoft Corporation, Cingular, PetSafe, Home Depot and Equifax. She has served as an independent publicist for Turner South, Discovery Home Channel, Animal Planet and Discovery Health. She has also worked for not-for-profit organizations such as The Captain Planet Foundation, The Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, The Tiger Woods Foundation, Reef Ball Foundation, Celebration of Excellence, Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (G-CAPP), and Performing Arts Program for Youth (PAPY).

She has secured front-page stories with the L.A. Times, New York Times, Washington Post, Atlanta Journal Constitution, Chicago Tribune, San Francisco Chronicle, Miami Herald, Seattle Times and Houston Chronicle. Broadcast experience includes bookings on Today Show, Good Morning America, Early Show, CNN Headline News, Fox & Friends, American Morning, ABC News, NBC Nightly News, CBS Evening News, CNBC, MSNBC, Bloomberg, ESPN, Tyra Banks, Regis & Kelly, Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel, David Letterman, Carson Daly, CBS Market Watch, Oprah and The View.

Prior to launching her own company in 2002, Leesburg worked for nationally recognized public relations agencies and organizations in Washington, D.C. and Atlanta including Ketchum, Edelman, PBS Television and public affairs firm, Dowling Langley & Associates.

Leesburg, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, received her B.A. in Speech Communication from The University of Southern Mississippi. Actively involved in her community, she is a member of The Atlanta Press Club, Entertainment Publicist Professional Society (EPPS), Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) has served as the Programs Director for the Atlanta chapter of the Association for Women in Communications, and sits on the Board of Directors for the Captain Planet Foundation.
