Megan Kearney’s unique blend of retail, consumer and entertainment experience coupled with her amazing writing skills have proved invaluable to the Leesburg PR team. Prior to joining the firm, Megan served as Director of Communications for a leading interior design company in Atlanta, coordinating online, print and broadcast media relations services. Before moving to Atlanta in 2006, Megan served as the Assistant Marketing Director for the Sarasota Film Festival, promoting social events and facilitating press for filmmakers, industry guests and celebrity talent. Megan’s retail experience includes managing GAP, Inc. and Old Navy stores in the Sarasota and St. Augustine, Florida locations.

An interactive entrepreneur, Megan launched “Awesome Teen Magazine” in 2007, a weekly pop culture ezine for reliving those awkward teenage years and is working on a line of interactive greeting cards.

A world traveler and photographer, Megan has traveled the globe visiting Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Germany, Greece, Czech Republic and England. A native of Sarasota, Florida, Megan graduated from Flagler College with a B.A. in Mass Communication and Journalism.
